Common Questions About Donating

We want donating to be simple and stress-free. Here are answers to the most common questions we receive.

  • What items can I donate?

We gladly accept clothing, shoes, linens, blankets, pillows, belts, bags, backpacks, purses, and books. If it’s clean, usable, and textile-based, we can likely take it.

  • What items are NOT accepted?

We cannot accept furniture, electronics, mattresses, car seats, strollers, baby furniture, broken or unusable items, paint, chemicals, or hazardous materials. These items are costly to dispose of and reduce our ability to help those in need.

  • Should I bag my donations?

Yes. Please place your items in tied bags before placing them in the bin. This helps protect the items from weather and keeps the bins clean and organized.

  • Can I leave items outside the bin if it’s full?

No. Please do not leave items outside the bin. Items left outside can be damaged by weather and create additional cleanup costs. If the bin is full, please check back later or report the bin so our team can service it.

  • Where do my donations go?

Your donated items are collected and processed to generate funding that supports local nonprofit organizations. Donations 2 Feed proudly supports Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry, helping provide meals and resources for families in our community.
