Our Story
Donations 2 Feed was founded by Jody Osborne, a mission-driven entrepreneur focused on creating sustainable, long-term solutions to help fight community hunger. The organization’s beginnings are deeply personal—Jody’s wife, Wendy Osborne, founded Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry after feeling called to serve families facing food insecurity. As the pantry expanded, so did the need for reliable funding beyond traditional donations. In 2012, Jody began researching the secondary textile market and discovered a model that could transform donated clothing into consistent financial support for hunger relief. What started as a way to strengthen Tabitha’s Way ultimately led to the formation of Donations 2 Feed, LLC in 2018.
The organization quickly grew into a scalable system that converts excess clothing into funding for hunger relief while supporting local communities and families in need. Its continued growth and success are driven by a clear mission, strong leadership, and careful stewardship of donated resources.

Jody Osborne
Founder
Jody Osborne is the founder and managing partner of Donations 2 Feed, LLC, a mission-driven clothing recycling enterprise that transforms donated clothing into sustainable funding for Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry. The origin of Donations 2 Feed is deeply personal. Tabitha’s Way was founded by Jody’s wife, Wendy Osborne, after she felt called to step away from her job and launch a nonprofit food pantry to serve families facing food insecurity. As Tabitha’s Way grew, Jody began researching sustainable funding models that could provide long-term financial support beyond traditional donations and fundraising.
In 2012, Jody began studying the secondary textile market and the flow of excess clothing. He discovered a way to responsibly redistribute re-wearable clothing while converting those donations into consistent funding for pantry operations. What began as research to support Tabitha’s Way ultimately led to the formal creation of Donations 2 Feed, LLC in 2018. In 2025, funds provided through Donations 2 Feed directly resulted in more than 650,000 meals being provided to individuals and families facing food insecurity, reflecting the measurable impact of the model.
Jody’s professional background is rooted in entrepreneurship and financial analysis. He has written educational and strategic content for several options trading companies, developing expertise in risk management, market structure, and financial modeling. He applies this disciplined, data-driven approach to Donations 2 Feed, focusing on measurable impact, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability. At its core, Jody views Donations 2 Feed as faith expressed through stewardship — a belief that business, when structured intentionally and led with purpose, can become a lasting engine for community provision.

Common Questions About Donating
We want donating to be simple and stress-free. Here are answers to the most common questions we receive.
-
What items can I donate?
We gladly accept clothing, shoes, linens, blankets, pillows, belts, bags, backpacks, purses, and books. If it’s clean, usable, and textile-based, we can likely take it.
-
What items are NOT accepted?
We cannot accept furniture, electronics, mattresses, car seats, strollers, baby furniture, broken or unusable items, paint, chemicals, or hazardous materials. These items are costly to dispose of and reduce our ability to help those in need.
-
Can I leave donations outside the bin if it’s full?
No—please do not leave items outside the bin. Donations left outside can be damaged by weather, create cleanup costs, and take resources away from supporting families in need. If the bin is full, we encourage you to check back later or visit one of our other nearby donation bins. You can also help us keep bins serviced quickly by sending a text message to the number listed on the front of the bin to let us know it’s full.
-
Where do my donations go?
Your donations do more than clear space in your home—they help put food on the table for local families. By partnering with trusted community organizations, donated clothing and household items are transformed into sustainable funding for Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry. In 2025 alone, the Donations2Feed Clothing Program helped provide more than 600,000 meals to families in our community. Together, your generosity creates real, lasting impact right here at home.
-
What should I do if a bin is full or needs service?
Call or text (801) 735-5805 to let us know. Our team can schedule an emptying so the bin is ready for use again.
